Hello Tony

Its been a long while since we’ve spoken.
I think its time we had a little talk.

You come to my house.

You say you believe in me but you don’t seem to be listening.
You don’t seem to be reading my book much these days.

Tony, you claim to follow me but I need to see some evidence.

I really do.

Remember who you are working for.

You cannot serve both me and money (Matthew 6:24).

You are not working for George or Ehud.

They are not on my team, Tony.

I wonder whether you’ve changed sides as well.

What you are doing in the Middle East is embarrassing me, Tony.
It really is.

It ticks me off.
Its giving me a bad name (Romans 2:24).

You say you care for my chosen people in Israel.
You sent your navy to Beirut to rescue some of my children.
But what about my chosen people in Lebanon?

You left them behind.
You left them to die.
What about my chosen people in Gaza and the West Bank?

Tony, have you lost your voice?
Have you lost your conscience?

Why won’t you listen to my other leaders calling on Israel to stop the killing.

Even those who don’t yet know me, seem to have more of a conscience than you do.

I think you have lost sight of the reason I gave you this job.
Tony, I’ve already told you what to do.
The religion I accept as pure and faultless is this:
“to look after widows and orphans in their distress.” (James 1:27)
Tony, read my lips.
I said "look after" the widows and orphans, not make more of them, not make it worse for them.

Your assignment is to be a peacemaker not a widow-maker.

What part of that instruction do you not understand?

Tony, get back into line with my other leaders if you want to stay on my team.
Work with the United Nations to treat all my children the same.
Stop Israel from turning Lebanon into a cemetery.

Haven’t you learnt yet that you can’t defeat terrorism with terrorism.
Those who live by weapons will die by weapons (Matthew 26:52).
I want my Jewish and Palestinian children to live in peace.
Stop supporting the terrorists Tony and impose my Road Map.

One last thing Tony.
Remember, one day you are going to have to stand before me and explain what you’ve done.
Remember Tony, what you are doing to the least of these my children, you are doing to me (Matthew 25:40).
And what you are neglecting to do for the least of these my children, you’re neglecting to do to me (Matthew 25:45).

Tony, are you still listening to me?

See you soon.
